Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities including inventory management, stock accuracy, inbound and outbound logistics, and staff performance. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and continuous improvement across all warehouse functions.

The Warehouse Manager will play a key role in supporting supply chain efficiency, ensuring timely order fulfillment and implementing best practices in warehouse management systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.

Ensure daily warehouse activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with SOPs, safety standards, and hygiene requirements.

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, stocktakes, and inventory reconciliation.

Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including daily task allocation, performance monitoring, and training.

Coordinate with logistics and procurement departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and dispatch of finished goods.

Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to optimize inventory control and order processing.

Analyze warehouse KPIs such as order fulfillment rate, stock accuracy, and turnaround time; propose improvements where necessary.

Enforce compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) regulations, and ensure safe usage of equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.

Lead initiatives to improve workflow efficiency, reduce wastage, and implement 5S and Lean practices.

Manage warehouse layout planning, equipment maintenance, and space utilization to maximize operational effectiveness.

Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Production, QA, Planning, Sales) to ensure seamless coordination across functions.

Prepare and present weekly and monthly warehouse reports to senior management.

Support budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and cost control for the warehouse department.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

Experience in F&B or manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and supply chain principles.

Familiar with WMS or ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and hygiene requirements in food-related warehousing is an added advantage.

Understanding of safety regulations and practices under Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
