Person Specifications

• Degree in relevant field
• Min 3 years\' experience in inventory warehousing operations
• Ability to provide effective leadership of a culturally diverse workgroup
• May require to work beyond official office hours & weekends due to business exigency/requirements if necessary
• Good communication skills in written & oral English
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative & be proactive in performing operational activities to meet customer expectations
• Ability to work closely with internal & external customers, including different industries & disciplines
• Basic knowledge of WMS & some experience in dealing with shipping lines & forwarders is an added advantage
• Some travel maybe required within Peninsula Malaysia

Position : Warehouse Manager

Location : Shah Alam

Industry : Logistics ( HQ in Singapore )

Primary Objective(s) of Position

• Responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations including staff, plan, organize & control activities of inventory warehouse, parts & equipment in designated HPL facilities
• Ensure a safe, efficient & productive working environment
• Meet customer\'s KPI objective

Duties & Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility of dedicated HPL managed warehouse, on & off site
• Plan & supervise daily operational activities
• Ensure the appropriate allocation of resources (human & capital) is employed to perform activities to meet customer\'s expectations
• Ensure the effective implementation of process & SOP\'s
• Perform routine inventory stock counts as required by & agreed with customers
• Report any discrepancies in inventory stock count
• Ensure the effective receiving, stock in process, storing/racking, pick & pack & shipment preparation
• Ensure timely monthly closure reports of activity & storage invoicing
• Communicate with customers, vendors & transporters
• Communicate with shipping lines & freight procurement
• Develop an annual budget for inventory warehouse activities by working with sales & customer service to review & commit to inventory storage forecasts & having the necessary resources planned in order to manage & operationally support those forecast
• Ensure all working areas are kept safe, secure, clean & are organized to maximize Productivity & efficiency
