About Our Client

Our client is amongst the top FMCG organisations here in Malaysia. With constant growths of the business and team - both within their commercial and production departments, they are now looking for a competent and strategic Warehouse Manager to join the team based in Melaka.

  • Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing raw materials and SKUs are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee the inventory management system to ensure that accurate and up-to-date information is maintained for all raw materials and SKUs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse layout and space utilisation, including storage and handling systems for different types of raw materials and SKUs.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse personnel to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
  • Manage and oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to coordinate the movement of raw materials and finished goods to and from the warehouse.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the warehouse operations.
  • Ensure that all warehouse personnel are trained and comply with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Generate and review warehouse reports to monitor inventory levels, performance metrics, and other key indicators.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse management role, preferably managing raw materials and large volumes of SKUs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and generate reports to monitor and optimise warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements for warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to manage multiple priorities effectively.
