Job Description

Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Manage stock control and reconcile with inventory system
Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity and quality
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed

Qualifications & skills
Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a relevant field with at least 10 years of relevant experience in FMCG
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 software is an added advantage.
Leadership skills and ability manage staff
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience in managing a team
Proficient in MS Office
Able to multi task and take on additional job scope as need arise
