Job Description

1. Warehouse Operations

Oversee daily inbound (raw material, consumables) and outbound (finished goods) activities.

2. Inventory & Stock Control

Monitor stock levels of raw paper, ink, glue, and finished goods. Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile with system records. Ensure accuracy of warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP entries. Minimize stock variance, damages, and obsolescence.

3. People Management

Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff (supervisors, storekeepers, forklift operators, loaders). Prepare duty rosters and allocate manpower according to workload. Conduct performance appraisals and identify training needs.

4. Safety & Compliance

Enforce workplace safety, fire prevention, and 5S housekeeping practices. Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct safety briefings and ensure use of PPE in warehouse operations.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly warehouse reports (inbound, outbound, stock accuracy, damages, KPI). Work with Production & Sales teams to meet customer delivery timelines. Drive cost-saving initiatives (reduce overtime, optimize transport, improve storage solutions). Lead warehouse audits and continuous improvement projects.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or related field. Minimum 5-8 years of warehouse experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role (preferably in packaging, paper, or manufacturing industry). Able to speak English, Malay & Mandarin Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. Familiar with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Leadership and team management skills. Good problem-solving and decision-making ability. Knowledge of safety regulations and material handling practices. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispatch of paper reels, packaging materials, and carton boxes. Develop efficient layout planning to optimize space utilization and material flow. Implement FIFO/FEFO and other inventory control systems.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
