Warehouse Material Handler - Your future position?

As the Warehouse Material Handler, you will operate material handling equipment while performing tasks to include shipping, receiving, unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, relocating, and stacking product.

In this role, you will be based in our Ayer Keroh, Melaka site and directly report to the Assistant Shipping Manager

In this role, you will

• Prepare product(s) for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded following customer orders.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage products and materials in dedicated areas using non- electrical/powered equipment.
• Prepare unused materials for return to main warehouse.
• Help with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring stock rotation.
• Maintain distribution center/ warehouse and equipment by keeping it clean and safe, reporting service requests.
• Conduct operations in compliance with company guidelines and public regulations in a manner which promotes safety.
• Build other tasks and assigned by supervisor.

Professional & Academic Background

• High school education or General Education Diploma equivalency.
• 6 months+ of training in a warehouse environment.

Technical Skills

• Basic math and writing skills.
• Follow operating equipment utilization procedures.
• Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment.
