Job Description

1. Supervision and Leadership:

Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including warehouse assistants, forklift operators, and pickers/packers. Provide guidance, training, and support to warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective performance of duties. Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among team members.

2. Inventory Management:

Oversee the receiving, storing, and organizing of inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper storage procedures. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records. Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock as needed.

3. Order Fulfillment:

Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time. Monitor order fulfillment processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement efficiency measures as needed. Liaise with logistics and transportation providers to schedule shipments and deliveries.

4. Quality Control:

Implement quality control measures to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory meets quality standards. Conduct inspections of incoming shipments and outgoing orders to verify accuracy and condition of goods. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or quality issues promptly.

5. Safety and Compliance:

Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment in the warehouse. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or violations promptly. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for warehouse operations.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments. Generate reports on warehouse activities, such as inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and productivity metrics. Provide regular updates and reports to management on warehouse performance and KPIs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in inventory management systems and software. o Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
