is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations and inventory control for assigned contracts or clients, ensuring all physical and system transactions are accurately updated, verified, and reconciled in a timely manner. This includes monitoring KPIs and compiling operational and financial data for regular review, assisting the Senior Warehouse Manager in maintaining efficiency and effectiveness, and ensuring all documentation is complete. The role also involves inspecting goods for accuracy and condition during receiving and storage, conducting regular stock counts, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and recommending process improvements to enhance operational performance.
Key Activities / Accountabilities:-
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and company policies.
Supervise and guide the team to meet deadlines and job requirements.
Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness within the department.
Plan and implement effective inventory control processes.
Monitor operational budgets, KPIs, and performance targets.
Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and audits.
Verify and monitor overtime, claims, and monthly expenses.
Ensure compliance with FEFO in all inbound and outbound activities.
Maintain accurate pallet control and daily inventory updates.
Review and improve work procedures to enhance efficiency.
Monitor staff discipline and performance; take corrective action when needed.
Communicate customer feedback, issues, and requirements to the Manager.
Build good working relationships with internal and external parties.
Report regularly to the immediate superior on operational performance.
Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Diploma or higher in Supply Chain Management / Logistics.
Member of recognized logistics institute (advantage).
Min. 3 years in similar role; 5 years in 3PL or FMCG environment.
Experienced in ERP / MRP / WMS / SAP systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
Strong communication and business writing skills.
Organized, process-oriented, and able to work independently.
Able to design and improve operational processes.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages an advantage..
Working Hours:
1500hrs - 2300hrs / Shift rotation
