About the Role

As the Web Analytics Specialist at Mindvalley, you are responsible for Google Tag Manager and other tagging platforms across the sites that MindValley uses. You, with the report directly to the Data Analytics team and will be based mostly on event tagging across all platforms that Mindvalley employs and will work closely towards any new tools coming in to track user metrics.

You must have hands-on experience with tagging tools such as Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, Adobe Tracking, or similar. A proper understanding of building user journey funnels and identifying event tracking would go a long way.

Main Responsibilities

  • Tagging: Ensuring proper hygiene and tagging in all our event tagging platforms
  • Manage web analytics & tag manager implementation. Create tags, datalayer extensions and analytics configurations
  • Writing/modifying Javascript code and liaising with web developers on implementation
  • Partner with an internal development team to test and deploy new tracking solutions while monitoring and optimizing existing integrations
  • Understand product managers\' needs to translate business requirements into analytics technical requirements
  • Hygiene: Ability to work independently to conduct a full audit of past tracking and taggings.
  • Measuring the Impact: Utilize tracking and analytics tools such as dashboards to measure user journey and to report insights to the team and stakeholders.
  • Innovation and Growth: Following growth methodology, prioritize the most impactful ideas from your research, execute fast and present insights to the team.
  • Funnel: Has implemented tagging schemes and test plans for site enhancements campaigns and conversion programs.
  • Documentation: Identifying gaps, troubleshooting technical issues, and documenting changes
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Implement marketing tech integrations (third party tools ) into our existing martech landscape and applications
  • Work across all the codebase to build features, experiments, performance enhancements related to acquisition and retention with technologies across different platforms and channels such as SMS and Email
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, data, product and engineering to implement and adopt of the stack
  • Monitor and maintain status and performance of the stack
  • Prepare detailed tracking implementation and specifications across new and existing platforms and devices
  • Create appropriate measurement plans for CDP (and its downstream destinations) to satisfy analytics use cases
  • Develop documentation of use cases, tracking specs and QA results and best practices
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of experience of working on tagging platforms.
  • Have experience in BI Tools such as DataStudio/ Tableau/ PowerBI or similar.
  • Have experience with SQL. Python and other languages are a plus.
  • Growth mindset is critical because you will be pulling one of the biggest leverages of Mindvalley\'s growth. Having it will enable you to challenge all existing practices, perform research on the advertising landscape, and constantly bring insights back to Mindvalley. We will be investing in your learning by purchasing new courses and sending you for external training.
  • Good with data analysis and relies on data for decision making.
  • Have a good eye for tagging events.
  • Fast learner with excellent interpersonal skills, an exceptional team player and able to handle tight deadlines, fast execution while being detailed-oriented.
