Job Description
Welder
Work Location : Penang ( Bayan Lepas, Batu Kawan ))
The welder will report to Supervisor and Manager onsite. They will be responsible to ensure schedule and
quality is met for welding tasks assigned to them. They must be able to communicate with supervisor relating to technical requirements and to discuss schedule of their works with him.
Relevant skills of a welder include:
- 6G weld certification preferred, 5G minimum (TIG and/or MIG welding)
- Orbital welding qualification and/or training, min 3 years\' experience
- Ability to read and understand isometrics, layout drawings
- Ability to draw isometrics for their works
- Ability to fill out weld logs
- Ability to measure, draw, fabricate and prepare pipe, tube and fittings for welding
- A positive attitude.
- The ability to communicate well
- A good understanding of basic safety procedures
- Organizational skills
- 2-3 years minimum experience
