Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and solve technical problems within knowledge to ensure timely completion of jobs.
Analyze and work independently on technical drawings, calculations, setup, processes, methods, machine operations, tools, and equipment.
Prepare weekly progress reports.
Propose technical improvements in fabrication processes, methods, and speeds to meet company standards.
Collaborate with others to develop efficient fabrication processes for assigned jobs.
Estimate hours and lead time when required.
Arrange and complete all job assignments on time.
Control and ensure the highest quality of products produced.
Handle machining tasks and arrange servicing of machines when required.
Maintain cleanliness of machines and ensure work surroundings are safe and organized.
Follow work instructions and standard procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
Certificate / Diploma in Welding or Machining.
Fresh grad or Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar capacity/industry.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings.
Hands-on knowledge and experience in operating machines such as milling, lathe, grinding, CNC milling, and CNC lathe.
