Job Description

As our new Server Operations Specialist, you will join the Global Datacenter Operations team, consisting of 14 people globally. This is part of the Infrastructure & Operations team with 80 dedicated colleagues working out of Denmark and Poland. We are part of the internal Global IT Organization at Demant, with over 500 colleagues around the world, and hubs in Denmark, Poland, US, and Asia Pacific Region.

You will be working alongside specialist in the areas of, Network, Server, Virtualization, Backup and Storage. We offer you a possibility to work with operations in global projects with energetic and engaged colleagues.

Your main responsibilities and tasks:

• Deliver 2nd line support to Demant companies worldwide, including troubleshooting, analysis and improvement of Server Infrastructure
• Service Request fulfillment. Ensure all requests are prioritized and managed pro-actively according to impact, escalating problems as required
• Follow up on incidents and issues in cooperation with colleagues from different worldwide locations
• Support and contribute to various projects and initiatives

To Qualify for the Role:

• Administering Microsoft server platforms (Win 2016, 2019, \xe2\x80\xa6) and server roles including file, print, firewall, DFS-R, RDS/VDI, AD, GPOs, hyper-v
• Experience performing VMware vSphere (ESXi, VCenter) administration
• Physical data center facilities
• Server Hardware (preferably HPE), ONEView or other server monitoring platforms
• ITIL processes & procedures
• (nice to have): familiarity with Azure or other public cloud workloads
• (nice to have): familiarity with Citrix virtual apps & desktops
