Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
To provide support for the Virtual Infrastructure (VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, HCI & Bladeservers) and Windows Servers (Hardware and Operation System). The Leader is responsible for:

• Level 3 problem resolution.
• 24 x 7 availability to attend critical system issues.
• Under minimal supervision partner with other teams to plan, coordinate, design, configure, install, and maintain Intel based systems.
• Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions.
• Review, maintain and monitor system reliability and performance.
• Plan and Perform patching and updates for Virtualization Farm Plan and forecast capacity for Virtualization Farm
• Review and enforce security and server policy.
• Involve in Problem log, RCA, Problem Management log.
• Act as technical project leader for projects when necessary for internal initiatives
• Work with vendors and partners to ensure hardware and software are delivered/configured according to specification.
• Coach and educate support team on best practices for Windows and Virtualizations farm

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience in leading teams in an Enterprise environment preferably in IT Infrastructure Operations.
• 5 or more years of experience in VMware environment (SDDC, including vSphere, vCenter, NSX, vRops, Skyline)
• 5 or more years of experience on Hyperconverged (HCI) systems such as Nutanix & Cisco HyperFlex including Nutanix AHV, Prism Central.
• 5 or more years of experience on Enterprise Hardware such as CISCO UCS Servers, Cisco Fabric Interconnect.
• 7 or more years of experience with Windows Server Operating System(Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022)
• At least a higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering / telecommunications network or equivalent
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) (preferred)
• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP-MCI) (preferred)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (Data Center) (preferred)
• Microsoft Certified Professional (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month Benefits:
