Required Skill(s):
Manage and Lead the Service Department to deliver quality and efficient preventive and comprehensive maintenance support services and all our other offerings to our customers.Work and provide strong technical support / services to Customers. Handling customer complaints or any major incidents such as equipment and or system failure.
Responsibilities
Interacting with customers and external parties for good business rapport.
Conduct daily/monthly meetings with operations executives & staff on operations updates.
Carry out 6 monthly performance reviews of all direct reports within the department as requested by the HR Dept.
Monitor on truck repair and maintenance.
Monitor staff performance and attendances.
Manage and resolve all staff disciplinary matters.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of workshop activities.
Maintain high staff moral and staff training to ensure skill transfer to executives and team leaders downwards.
Ensure KPI objectives are met internally & external.
Conduct SOP checks on guidelines already set.
Ensure close collaboration of workshop with other departments (parts warehouse, sales, customer service) to minimize open loops.
Ongoing review and optimization of processes and procedures, ensuring a business and result oriented working style.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and keep the workshop tidy.
Perform audits/inventories incl. action implementation as required.
Document statutory country-specific tests (and also carry them out if applicable).
Knowledge of current customer complaints and take responsibility for putting measures in place for customer satisfaction.
