Job Description

Operate and oversee all components of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). Carry out regular checks on machinery, pipelines, and control systems to ensure everything operates smoothly. Track water quality by conducting on-site tests and coordinating laboratory analyses. Immediately report any unusual conditions, equipment malfunctions, or process issues. Maintain full compliance with HSE requirements, environmental regulations, and safe working procedures at all times.

Job Requirements:

At least a High School qualification or Technical Diploma in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of hands-on experience in wastewater or effluent treatment plant operations, ideally within oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments. Understanding of water and wastewater treatment systems, along with applicable environmental laws and guidelines. Experience working with pumps, valves, chemical dosing, and basic laboratory testing methods. Able to use basic computer applications for documentation and report preparation. Physically capable, alert to safety practices, and willing to work on a shift schedule.
