We're looking for a storyteller who thinks in chapters, not just captions. Your mission is to own our YouTube channel from concept to completion - developing binge-worthy content that grows our subscriber base, builds a loyal community, and establishes our channel as a destination in our space.
About the Role:
This is where deep storytelling meets strategic growth. You'll be the creative engine behind our YouTube presence, transforming complex ideas into engaging video narratives that keep viewers watching and coming back for more. From documentary-style deep dives to educational series, you'll craft the content that becomes our audience's next favorite watch.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive YouTube content strategy focused on subscriber growth and watch time
Write compelling, structured scripts for various video formats (educational, entertainment, documentary-style)
Research and develop video concepts that balance audience demand with brand objectives
Create detailed storyboards and shot lists that bring scripts to life
Optimize video titles, descriptions, and thumbnails for maximum click-through rates
Analyze YouTube Analytics to understand audience retention and content performance
Collaborate with videographers and editors to maintain narrative quality throughout production
Develop content series and programming strategies that encourage binge-watching
Stay current with YouTube algorithm changes and platform best practices
Who You Are:
A YouTube strategist with 2+ years of experience growing a channel or creating platform-native content
A skilled scriptwriter who understands YouTube storytelling structure and pacing
Analytical thinker who uses data to inform creative decisions
Creative problem-solver who can transform complex topics into engaging content
Excellent researcher and storyteller with attention to narrative flow
Self-motivated creator who can manage multiple projects from concept to launch
Bonus Points For:
Experience with YouTube SEO and algorithm optimization
Knowledge of video editing software or production processes
Understanding of audience development strategies
Experience scripting for different YouTube formats (shorts, long-form, live streams)

Pay: RM1,703.89 - RM9,824.29 per month
