Job Description

The A4 Chargeman cum Technician is responsible for overseeing all facilities and refurbishment projects in the Rehab Centre and affecting them within approved budgets in the respective facility.

He / She is also responsible for Engineering Department in ensuring that all engineering facilities and services are maintained in good working order and are operated in a safe environment.

Manage, and monitor the Operations and Maintenance of Non-Clinical Facilities in IHT, comprising Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Civil, Structural Engineering, and Facilities support services for the center and ensure smooth business operations.

Manage and follow up facility changes, retrofits, and expansion requests to meet IHT\'s business needs.
Engineering

Responsible for the operation of the respective Rehab Services Centre.

Supervising all personnel in Facilities in their day-to-day activities

Planned, organized, and implemented a comprehensive program (including both corrective and preventive activities) to ensure the smooth operation of all mechanical and electrical installations.

To carry out daily inspection and monitoring for LV, switchboards, MSB, and TNB supply. Etc.

Carry out scheduled inspections and testing of standby Generators, Fire Pumps, sump pumps, etc.

Supervise external contractors\xe2\x80\x99 works/services and monitor their performance.

Carry out in-house electrical works, including maintenance, inspection, and testing as assigned by the management.

Ensures the helpdesk is performing its daily tasks efficiently and accurately.

Ensures breakdown calls are attended to according to priority and within an

acceptable time.

Ensures all Planned Preventive Maintenances are completed within the required

Schedule.

Ensures all breakdowns & planned preventive maintenance are captured and recorded by the Helpdesk / Work order Summary report.

Review the facility\'s monthly report before submitting it to the Facilities Manager.

Coordinate work with the Technical Coordinator on project works within the Rehab Center.

Prepares Schedule of Works for Facilities Manager review before submitting to procurement for obtaining more quotations.

Overseeing the project works and reporting to the Facilities Manager promptly.

Genset test runs onload & offload by schedule and planning. All electrical appliance is in

Good condition. Compliance with ST, Electrical Act, etc. requirements.

Well, understand and arrange of contingency plan. Example, water outage, power

Outage 100% Supply without interruption. Enhance and maintain the utility system in a

reasonable manner and consistency.

Assists performance monitoring system for outsourced maintenance and support service

Contractors, to ensure service delivery, meet the expectations of the Facilities.

Manager.

Monitor and supervise all corrective and preventive measures of maintenance work by

Outsourcing contractors to ensure work efficiency is achieved.

Ensure that all relevant laws, statutes, regulations, clinical requirements, and patient
