Job Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for handling daily accounting functions, ensuring accurate recording, monitoring of financial activities, and preparing timely financial reports. This role requires strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with production, purchasing, warehouse, and management teams in a food factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full set of accounts: AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation. Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, costing summaries, and variance analysis. Process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims, and petty cash. Monitor inventory costing, stock movement, and wastage reports together with production and warehouse teams. Handle cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and monthly forecasting. Ensure timely submission of SST, tax documentation, and statutory requirements. Prepare costing reports for raw materials, packaging, and production batches. Maintain proper filing and documentation according to audit requirements. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, suppliers, and internal departments. Support management on any ad-hoc finance or operational tasks.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred). Strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and SST. Proficient in accounting software (AutoCount/SQL/others). Knowledge in inventory accounting and costing is an advantage. Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Advantages

Experience in food manufacturing environment. Familiar with stock take, BOM, production costing, and batch tracking. Able to start immediately or short notice.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
