Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, including financial reporting, monthly closings, and liaising with external stakeholders. The role requires a highly motivated professional with strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain full sets of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports. Handle monthly and year-end closing processes efficiently and independently. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other stakeholders as required. Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial insights and assist management in decision-making. Assist in the implementation and improvement of internal controls and accounting systems. Utilize Autocount accounting software effectively for daily operations and reporting. Lead and support junior finance staff, offering guidance and supervision where needed. Participate in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Continuously seek improvements in accounting processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Member of a professional accountancy body (MIA, CPA, or ACCA). Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in accounting and finance. Proficient in handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting. Experienced in using Autocount accounting software. Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin (both written and spoken). Capable of liaising effectively with auditors, bankers, and other third parties. Demonstrates leadership ability and a proactive mindset. Eagerness to learn and adopt a growth-oriented attitude. Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
