Performing a full spectrum of GL function and to maintain a full set of account.
To ensure an accurate and timely month end close -such as PPE depreciation, bank entry, journal entries and account reconciliations for prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, other adjustments and various other accounts.
Monitor the company\'s fixed assets, update the fixed assets register by ensuring proper record with supporting documents for the fixed assets acquired, disposed, written-off/impaired.
Responsible for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of operations in the general ledger, fixed asset and intercompany accounts, and bank reconciliations.
Preparation or review of annual tax estimates (CP204 & CP204a).
To coordinate with other departments to obtain transaction information, research reconciling items and resolve issues.
Maintain organized filing systems to ensure all company documents are up-to-date, properly filed, and well-kept.
Overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, with a specific focus on monitoring aging for both AR and AP. Additionally, you would provide backup support to the AP function when necessary.
Handling queries related to non-trade billing invoices (such as Rental Invoices)
Coordinating queries related to the Department of Quantity Surveying
To lead and participate inquarter-end and year-end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliation, schedules and internal reporting. Prepare the Management report by quarterly basic.
Responsible on ad-hoc sensitive or analytical analysis, reporting to facilitate the Management on their decision making when required and liaise with any external and internal counterparts as and when required.
Liaise with auditors, and tax agent to ensure compliance with Malaysia and Financial Reporting Standards and statutory requirements.
Responsible for intercompany accounting e.g. P&L, Balance Sheet, Project account, Schedules, liaise with auditors, tax agent, and payment service providers.
Supervising junior staff, provide training and mentoring junior staff.
