Job Title: Accountant Executive Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Job Type: Full-time Salary: Commensurate with experience : We are a leading legal firm in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeking an experienced and motivated accountant executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and be able to work independently while handling the full sets of accounts for our firm. Responsibilities:

• Handle the full sets of accounts for the legal firm, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash management
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial reports and insights to the management team
• Prepare and file tax returns and handle tax-related matters such as tax planning, compliance, and audits
• Manage and monitor cash flow and budgeting, including forecasting and analysis
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties as required
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as required

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a legal or professional services firm
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Experience in handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred but not required

• Working knoweldge in CoreMatter (accounting software)
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA
