Job Description

• Candidates must possess the minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institute of higher learning.
• At least 1 year working experience in account.
• Well versed in various accounting practices, processes and policies, to include operating expenses, accounts payables and fixed assets.
• Must also have a solid understanding of the close process, including journal entries, accruals and asset accounting.
• Must be meticulous and an eye for detail
• Must be a team player and able to work independently.
• Must be confident, articulate and motivated.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge in any accounting software.
• Candidate should have good command of English.
• Candidate should have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, namely, Excel, Word & Power Point

Responsibilities

• Handling full set accounts (receivables & payables)
• Managing cost allocation, accruals, prepayments & all other related entries
• Prepare monthly account statement and update payment records
• Assist in maintaining documentation.
• Assisting in ad-hoc operational duties
• Responsible for compiling, consolidating, maintaining and analyzing the ledger accounts, financial statements and operational results of the Group;
• To review and ensure the final accounts are accurately prepared on a timely basis and adhere to accounting standards;
• Responsible for the overall preparation of management and financial reports in compliance with management requirements;
• Monthly reconciliation of bank balance, debt and inter company balances;
• Manage daily operation like preparing cheque, voucher and banking;
• Prepare relevant audit schedule, tax computations and tax estimation;
• Liaison with company secretary, auditor, banker and tax agent.s
