Alta Vista Asia Sdn. Bhd. is expanding and looking for passionate individuals to join our growing team! We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions including financial reporting, budget preparation, taxation, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements. This role requires close collaboration with project teams, management, and external auditors to ensure accurate financial management and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation). Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and project cost reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory submissions (SST, corporate tax, etc.). Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies. Support project teams with financial analysis, costing, and cash flow planning. Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent). Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or property development industry. Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost management, and tax regulations. Experience with accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, or similar). Meticulous, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines. Leadership and team management skills are essential. Able to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
