Account Executive

to join our finance team.

The Account Executive will oversee and manage the company's full set of accounts, covering cafe operations, central kitchen and event projects. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to support financial planning and business growth.

Key Responsibilities



Financial & Accounting Management



Maintain accurate accounting records (General Ledger, AP, AR, petty cash, etc.). Handle daily bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, and bank reconciliations. Verify and process supplier payments, staff claims, and petty cash disbursements. Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments to vendors and statutory bodies.

Reporting & Analysis



Prepare monthly financial reports such as

Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet

. Analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures. Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability. Support management with cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

Taxation & Compliance



Ensure compliance with

LHDN, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and SST

regulations. Prepare documents for annual audits and liaise with external auditors. Maintain organised filing of all financial and statutory records.

Operational Support



Work closely with the operations team and central kitchen to gather sales and cost data. Prepare cost analysis for events, new projects, and product launches. Support the CEO and management with financial reports for strategic decisions.

Requirements



Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

Accounting, Finance, or related fields

. Minimum

2-3 years of accounting experience

, preferably in

F&B, hospitality, or retail

. Proficient in

SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or Xero

. Strong knowledge of

basic taxation, SST, and payroll processes

. Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills. Proficient in

Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace

. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
