A global market leader in integrated electrical and automation solutions is looking for a driven Account Manager, Energy Solutions (Sarawak). In this job, you will be based in Sarawak. About the Account Manager, Energy Solutions (Sarawak) Role:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing the business in the Borneo region (Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei) for the oil and gas, chemicals and refining, power and water segments. You will lead sales activities to drive revenue and develop effective strategic plans to increase market share for the integrated energy solutions business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the overall energy solutions budget for the Borneo region
  • Create, implement, and review sales strategy to ensure delivery on plans
  • Drive Borneo\xe2\x80\x99s energy solution sales strategy in collaboration with the sales support team
  • Understand the key business drivers of the relevant customer\xe2\x80\x99s business and business environment and interpret the impact and opportunity for the company
  • Identify and provide customers\xe2\x80\x99 current business and long-term plans for the development of sales strategies of accounts
  • Lead the development and implementation of key account plans and growth actions
  • Work with the segment sales, solution support and marketing team to develop a strong branding and positioning strategy as an established integrated solutions provider
  • Establish all key accounts within Borneo with a macro and micro-outlook, opportunities, IB, investment and business plans, stakeholder matrix, C-suite engagement, etc.
  • Monitor competitor activities with the account and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented
  • Drive applications of standardised marketing and sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, AVLs etc.) for the account
The successful Account Manager, Energy Solutions (Sarawak) must have prior experience in sales in the energy industry (oil and gas, power, petrochemicals and refinery). You must have a solution/system sales mindset with a key focus on value-selling. Key Requirements:
  • Degree in electrical engineering or other related fields
  • At least 10 years of proven sales experience within Sabah, Sarawak and/or Brunei\xe2\x80\x99s oil and gas and/or chemicals and refining and/or power and water customer base
  • International, cross-BU and cross-division experience
  • Strong communication skills is must
  • Good teamwork spirit, communication, excellent interpersonal skills and able to build networks and good relationships with people at all levels
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills and able to work independently
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
  • Strong influencing and problem-solving skills are an advantage
  • Must be willing to be based in Sarawak ideally
