Objective:

We are seeking a dynamic individual A high caliber accounting specialist to join Zebra Global Finance Shared Services organization, he/ she is responsible to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial statements for assigned entities in APAC region. He/ She must be driven and able to make an impact in our businesses besides providing excellent finance service delivery to the organization.

Reporting to Accounting Supervisor, he/she will be accountable for key functional scope while establishing, documenting, and working with team on applying accounting processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily general accounting activities
• Performing month-end closing activities and preparing analyses or commentaries for regional financial statement reviews
• Preparing and maintaining records of all general ledger accounts and all monthly and quarterly journal entries necessary for monthly close; monthly account reconciliation and investigates reconciling items
• Maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., U.S. GAAP, SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures and local regulations)
• Leading and driving US and statutory accounting GAAP compliance, conversant in IFRS and US GAAP and the impacts to statutory accounting
• Collaborating with other departments - AR, AP, Payroll, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, Facilities, etc
• Participating and/or managing projects and company initiatives, process improvements and automation or ad hoc assignments

Qualifications

Key Skills we are looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance and/ or other related fields
• Professional qualification (eg, ACCA/ CPA) is an added advantage
• 2-5 years of working experience, preferably in an accounting firm and/ or MNC
• Knowledge of transfer pricing will be an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills and proficient in both written and oral
• Proven experience in supporting cross-functional teams and drive efficiency
• Result-oriented, self-motivated, agile, enthusiastic and a team player
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Experience with systems and applications such as Oracle, MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint), PowerBI, Blackline, VBA, macros is an added advantage
• Mandarin language skill is an added advantage to support China region
