ACCOUNTS ADMIN & PURCHASING



About us



Established automotive workshop in Penampang, Sabah, specializing in ECU remapping, diesel performance tuning, and general automotive services. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual to handle our financial records and purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts Maintain and update day books and general ledger Ensure all transactions are properly documented and balanced Prepare financial records and documentation for accountant review Process invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts Assist with monthly financial closing and reporting File and organize financial documents systematically Purchase workshop materials, spare parts, and office supplies as needed Process delivery orders when mechanics collect parts (immediate processing required) Liaise with suppliers for quotations and orders Conduct regular stock takes and maintain inventory records Track and record all sales transactions Monitor stock levels and alert management when reordering is needed Maintain smooth operation of office facilities Support general office administration as needed Coordinate with workshop and service departments on documentation

Requirements:



Essential:

SPM/Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 1-2 years experience in bookkeeping or accounts work Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills Comfortable with purchasing and dealing with suppliers Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia Honest, responsible, and able to handle confidential information
Added Advantage:

Experience with accounting software (SQL, Autocount, QuickBooks, etc.) Knowledge of SQL databases Experience in automotive or workshop environment
