A well-known company that was established in 1962 within the industrial sector that is located in Ipoh, Perak. The business is looking for passionate individuals to be a part of its pioneer team and bring the business to greater success.
The core tasks of this role:
Accounting
Prepare monthly subsidiaries accounts, including processing accounts receivable and payable.
Assist in preparing data and information required for e-invoicing compliance.
Reconcile system records with IRB\'s records for e-invoicing.
Handle Customs on Sales and Services Tax.
Attend to both physical stock counts and fixed assets sightings.
Secretarial matters
Liaise with Corporate Secretary to ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
Liaise with functional heads to ensure legal approval before preparing Board Resolutions.
Arrange Board and AGM meetings and relevant administrative tasks.
Issue invitations and distribute board papers to directors and invitees for Board/AGM meetings.
Inform managers quarterly to prepare papers for Board of Directors\' approval. Compile and standardize papers for Corporate Secretary to prepare Board Resolutions.
Liaise with Corporate Secretary for certification of documents (CTC) upon user request.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate would be required to possess the following:
Diploma/Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance & Accountancy
Minimum 2-4 years in an accounting or secretarial related field
Preferably 2-3 years of auditing experience in SME audit firm with experience handling corporate secretarial matters
Prior experience working within industrial sector would be advantageous
Fundamental accounting knowledge and proficiency in MS Office particularly in Excel.
Detailed-oriented, meticulous, dependable, independent, and a good team player
