Job Description



Accounting

  • To manage, lead and guide the accounting team in month end closing process
  • To review and approve payment of expenses and reinsurance balance
  • To assist in liaising with internal auditor and external auditor


Investment / Asset Management
  • To review monthly cash position and to propose for investment option
  • To act as the main liaison with banks
  • To ensure investments are carried out in line with investment guidelines


Human Resource
  • To assist in hiring process
  • To conduct orientation for new joiners


Compliance
  • To monitor and ensure all statutory returns are file and fees are paid to relevant authorities before the due date
  • To prepare AML/CFT payees listing for quarterly batch screening
  • To prepare perform KYC for business partners
  • To act as the main liaison with trust company


Other
  • To ensure smooth office operations by ensuring adequate office supplies, equipment functionality, office maintenance, health & safety and etc.
  • To monitor office tenancy agreement, service contract, subscription, insurance renewal and etc.
  • To prepare Environmental reporting
  • To act or perform any other assignments as necessary and required from time to time
