We are seeking for a suitably qualified professional to undertake the role of Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance (AMAF). Reporting directly to the Business Manager and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the AMAF is responsible for: \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing school & ECE finance and accounts in accordance with good and legal practice and within school policies and procedures \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing matters relating to fees and finance policies including credit control & cashflow \xe2\x80\xa2 Be responsible to prepare the annual budget and advice on matters relating to compliance \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing matters pertaining to accounts, finance, taxation and annual audit as needed \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparing financial reports for the Board and Principal \xe2\x80\xa2 Payment approval for all transactions: accurate, accounted for and recorded \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-review on procedures to better manage the finance department ASSISTANT MANAGER ACCOUNTS & FINANCE We are looking for someone with: \xe2\x80\xa2 A minimum of a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance, business or related studies \xe2\x80\xa2 Skills in financial reporting & up-to-date accounts, financial analysis, general ledger accounting, tax compliance, forecasting and budgeting, Microsoft Excel \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 2-3 years relevant experience leading a finance team is essential \xe2\x80\xa2 Honesty, someone responsible who works with a high level of integrity \xe2\x80\xa2 Evidence of ability to undertake cashflow and credit control matters \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent problem-solving skills, organisation and attention to detail \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu, both written and verbal at all levels \xe2\x80\xa2 A good team player with leadership experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Previous experience in an educational setting an advantage
