Chrisjac Recruitment are looking for a fully qualified Accountant to assume the role of Assistant Manager,Group Finance with a public listed company based at Kuala Lumpur.The group\'s business activity are diversified,ranging from manufacturing, utilities and engineering and property development.
About the job
This is a full time permanent position, reporting to Chief Finance Officer of the group in Malaysia.
The role will be to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions of the company and several subsidiary companies within the group.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for quarterly and yearly reports for Bursa Malaysia announcements.
- Responsible for the Group consolidated accounts on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Responsible for the financial management of the company and the Group.
- Manage taxation, audit and all related matters.
The candidate
Qualified candidates who wish to be considered for this senior accounting role must possess minimum a Bachelor degree in Accounting or even better professional qualification ACCA/CIMA.
- Member of MIA.
- Preference for candidates who are in age group 30-38.
- At least 5-8 years of experience ideally with prior experience in PLC set up.
- The successful applicant will be strong in consolidation of group accounts.
- Good working knowledge on Main Board Listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities and MFRS/IFRS.
- A confident and well organised self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English is required with good writing skills.
- A good working knowledge of accounting standards (FRS & IAS),taxation and company law will definitely a prerequisite to be considered for this role.
This exciting role will be based at the corporate head office in city center in KL. Their business working hours are on a 5-day week basis, 8.30 am-5.30pm. It is important that the applicants will find it convenient to work in the location. APPLICATION
