Smart Group Malaysia is a Singapore-based clean energy provider offering CNG and Euro-5 diesel to motorists and industries. Since 2006, we've expanded across the region and now operate Petron and Shell petrol stations in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team at Shell Kulai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions, including:

Job Scope - Accountant / Finance Executive



1. Full Set of Accounts & Reporting



Handle the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. Ensuring accurate recording of transactions in compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. Ensure timely submission of E-Invoice, corporate tax, GST, and other statutory requirements.

2. Cash Flow & Forecasting



Monitor cash flow and working capital to support business operations. Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.

3. Daily Transactions & Reconciliation



Perform daily sales reconciliation and ensure accuracy of billings to both internal and external parties. Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of account balances Process payments, accruals, and journal entries to maintain accurate up-to-date records in the accounting system. Monitoring daily bank balances and managing petty cash

4. Credit Control & Collections



Prepare and send statements of accounts, issue dunning letters, and follow up on overdue receivables.

5. Liaison & Compliance



Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary on financial and compliance matters. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g. MFRS), internal policies, and statutory regulations.

6. Administration & Office Support



Manage office supplies and stationery inventory, ensuring timely reordering. Provide general administrative support and perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements



Diploma/ Bachelor Degree or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCount accounting system is an added advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin will be an added advantage. Location: Shell Kulai (Indahpura), Johor.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
