Job Description


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the Accounting function
  • Responsible for timely closure of month-end accounts, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to management and HQ, and any adhoc reports as and when required
  • Assist in implementing of new systems, processes and procedures to improve efficiency and internal control
  • Explain the accounting/ tax treatment and its impact to financial results, provide professional advice and advise the ways of improving to the board
  • Prepare cash flow forecast and handle all the treasury matters such as bank loan, foreign exchange contract booking, Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantee
  • Liaise with external auditor and handle year-end audit, prepare audit schedule and reconciliation of inter-company transactions
  • Liaise with tax agent on all the tax related matters, including transfer pricing report
  • To keep abreast of latest update of accounting standards, tax regulations, Foreign Exchange Policy by Bank Negara and etc
  • To deal with HQ and related companies personnel for the accounting related matters
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Able to work independently, have sense of urgency and highly organized
  • Strong leadership skills, proactive and result-oriented
  • Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting or professional qualification
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office (intermediate level)
