We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Executive in Malaysia who will take full responsibility of account payables and all payments for selected SEA countries. Works with integrity to exercise professional practices to support business and finance operations in the areas of accounting, financial analysis, budget/forecast, audit, treasury, tax & financial information systems. A team player who can work within the finance department and across departments & the country. Duties & Responsibilities: Input accurate and timely data into ERP system in accordance with fields required. All the financial data adhere to accounting standard, rules & regulations, policy & procedures. Monthly reconciliations of AP between AP module and GL module. Ensure bank reconciliation are performed timely and accurately. Assist in interco reconciliations. Payments made are in accordance with delegation policy. Ensure that payments are only made for approved invoices and payment requests are properly supported & tally with amount claimed. Ensure payments are included in cash flow data. Ensure timely update on payment allocations in accounting system. Post interco transactions and match with counterparty. Assist in providing tenders if any to suppliers. Ensure the banking, petty cash system is as per policy. Ensure timely payment to staffs & creditors and timely follow up on cash advance & ongoing reconciliations. Prepare aging report to monitor overdue accounts & take necessary actions to resolve old outstanding balances. Partake in the forecasting of cash flow for the billings and/or payments. Support regional finance for financial analysis (benchmarks, business cases, pipeline record, etc.). Participate in regional operational excellence projects. Drive project management (costs & expenses management, special project, etc) and work with Country Head/local liaison person. Provides costing analysis to maintain the margin for insight mainstream and social. Assist in the compilation of corporate and legal information e.g. rental, insurance etc. Proper filling are required to ensure no missing documents for audit purpose. Complies with all local legislative requirements. Qualifications: Graduate of Accounting, Finance or Commerce. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google suite of applications and accounting systems or software such as NAV, QnE etc. Strong communication skills and organisational ability. Excellent written and verbal English. Ability to speak in other languages will be an added advantage. Detail oriented and can work under pressure to meet deadlines. Has the ability to challenge the current process and make improvements.
