What will you be engaged in?
\xe2\x97\x8f Strengthen billing and revenue recognition process of all revenue pillars for the Group (local entities in orders to ensure completeness and accuracy in invoicing and revenue without compromising on internal controls
\xe2\x97\x8f Regularly review relevancy of accounting treatment and adequacy of required documents for appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with revenue recognition standards and tax regulations. Responsible for accounting and reporting of SST relating to revenue
\xe2\x97\x8f Work with cross-functional teams/departments in resolving financial and revenue related issues including collections reporting.
\xe2\x97\x8f Evaluate and support Legal Team in contracts/agreements from Revenue recognition perspective
\xe2\x97\x8f Engage with business leaders regularly to ensure that the revenue playbook remains relevant
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for period-end closing for revenue related accounts including the preparation of monthly reconciliations, revenue analysis, journal entries and other activities within the closing period
\xe2\x97\x8f Perform monthly reconciliation between revenue recognised vs amount collected
\xe2\x97\x8f Support statutory obligations such as audit and tax in relation to revenue
\xe2\x97\x8f Aggregate revenue related information for regular/ad hoc reporting as and when required for the interest of management and stakeholders.
\xe2\x97\x8f Perform other duties as and when delegated i.e. back up, business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects

In addition, you should ideally have the following;

\xe2\x97\x8f 3-5 years of relevant experience relating to Billing and Finance related areas
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience with the Oracle Netsuite system and SQL query language is value added
\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other equivalent fields
\xe2\x97\x8f Good knowledge and understanding of Malaysia Taxation relating to revenue (i.e. Service tax, corporate tax etc.)
\xe2\x97\x8f Attention to detail and meticulous while reconcile revenue
\xe2\x97\x8f Creative minded and a problem solver
\xe2\x97\x8f Independent and self learner
\xe2\x97\x8f Are highly detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a systematic approach to problems
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent command of Google Office suite, especially Google Sheets
