Primary focus is complex project assignments within a specialized function. May provide general administrative support for individuals and/or department. May provide guidance and give work direction to others. Works under minimal supervision. Work may be done without established procedures.
Responsibilities
Performs general administrative duties that may include photocopying, coordinating meetings/appointments, typing, faxing, ordering/maintaining supplies, arranging travel, preparing and/or sorting mail.
Contacts are frequent with individuals representing outside organizations and/or individuals of significant importance within the company. Contacts involve planning and preparation of communications, requiring tact, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Answers questions that may involve interpretation of policy.
Viewed as key functional resource.
May be responsible for various components of project assignments to include: Developing and adhering to timetables; Coordinating large meetings/events (i.e. parts of a national trade show); Preparing status reports, records, and documents; Securing vendor estimates and purchase orders, processing invoices, ensuring vendor quality; Overseeing the execution of project deliverables; Reviewing the status of projects and budgets; Anticipating department projects and organizing own schedule, and that of others, to meet deadlines; Anticipating obstacles, developing alternative courses of action, and making appropriate decisions to meet objectives; May conduct research and compile and analyze information for reports in order to make decisions and/or recommendations.
Projects may be highly visible and require company resources.
Develops documents and administers procedures. Provides guidance to and may train others on those procedures.
Translates complex and/or technical, in-depth thoughts into documents (letters/memos/presentations, etc.) by researching subject; anticipates needs for communications; makes suggestions for improvements in existing communications.

As interface to Customers and Sales Representative has direct responsibility to facilitate, share documents and process to identify, notify and ensure any complaint or problem are addressed, thereby demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviors. Act as needed to support and facilitate any field corrective action related his/her scope. Support appropriate process and submission of Donation and Sponsorship to legal department. Validates that all products and advertisement have been through the appropriate approval processes, prior to sharing or publishing. (LAR, etc.).
Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
