Coordinate and manage administrative functions of the Robotic and Automation department including document management, record keeping, and filing systems.
Assist in organizing, scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and project activities, including preparation and distribution of meeting minutes and reports.
Develop and implement administrative procedures and policies to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and vendors, regarding engineering projects and activities.
Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, procurement of equipment and supplies, and tracking of expenditures.
Provide administrative support to engineering staff, including scheduling and coordinating training sessions, travel arrangements, and other activities as required.
Manage and maintain engineering department databases, including project tracking, engineering drawings, and other technical documents.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to engineering activities.
Perform other administrative duties as required, including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
To undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties when required by Superior.
REQUIREMENTS To become an Administrative Officer in an Engineering Department, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in administrative support roles, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
Excellent organizational, coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Knowledge of document management and record-keeping systems.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software applications.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to engineering activities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Able to work at Shah Alam
Willing to work on Alternate Saturday basis.
