The Agile PMO Manager will lead and evolve the Project Management Office (PMO) under the CIO Office, ensuring alignment between business priorities, technology initiatives, and enterprise outcomes. This role is crucial in strengthening governance, delivery consistency, and transparency across technology and transformation portfolios within the logistics industry. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in agile transformation, program governance, and strategic delivery management.
Key Responsibilities
Champion Agile and hybrid delivery practices, fostering a culture of adaptability, collaboration, and accountability across teams.
Manage the technology and transformation portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and logistics operations.
Monitor and report project performance, including progress, budget utilization, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
Engage and align stakeholders across IT, business units, and external vendors to support successful execution and prioritization of initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing data-driven insights, dashboards, and PMO tools to enhance predictability and visibility.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to enterprise governance frameworks and IT compliance policies.
Establish governance mechanisms for project initiation, delivery, and closure to maintain accountability.
Oversee project audits, documentation quality, and adherence to PMO reporting standards.
Change Management & Communication
Lead change management initiatives supporting agile transformation across the organization.
Design and implement communication strategies ensuring transparency and stakeholder alignment.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to bridge gaps between technology and business teams.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
Define and track PMO KPIs and success metrics across portfolios.
Leverage analytics and Power BI dashboards to provide real-time visibility into delivery performance.
Continuously refine PMO practices to optimize value delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8-10 years of project and program management experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or technology-driven organizations.
Proven track record in establishing or transforming PMO functions within a CIO or IT environment.
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery models.
Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Power BI.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Agile, or SAFe Agilist are highly regarded.
