JOB DESCRIPTION

\xe2\x97\x8f Planning, budgeting, and overall supervision of dairy farm and grass production operations including dairy barn housekeeping, feedstore and feed mixing operations, equipment and machinery maintenance as well as pasture and plantation management.

\xe2\x97\x8f General farm workers management and supervision including evaluation and recruitment.

\xe2\x97\x8f Overall planning of forage crop farm management including development, planting, harvesting, spraying, tilling & ploughing, and replanting program.

\xe2\x97\x8f Planning, budgeting, and monitoring fodder crops plantation projects such as rain gun sprinkler irrigation, special project planting, land clearing, infrastructure works, etc.

\xe2\x97\x8f Overall farm infrastructure works management and scheduling daily fodder crops (grass)

\xe2\x97\x8f Fertilizers & nutrient application and post-harvest management

\xe2\x97\x8f Supervise farm machinery and tractor maintenance as well as farm road and drainage repair and maintenance.

\xe2\x97\x8f Sourcing of tractor and machinery parts.

\xe2\x97\x8f Sourcing and ordering of fertilizers, nutrients and chemicals.

\xe2\x97\x8f Overall management of feedstore including feedstuff inventory and ordering.

\xe2\x97\x8f Planning and managing dairy farm zero waste management system including biofertilizer compost plant, vermifiltration, vermicompost, and dairy effluent recycle system.

\xe2\x97\x8f Managing worm farming, and organic vegetable garden using vermicompost application.

\xe2\x97\x8f Improve efficiency across the operation, increase income/profitability, and decrease expenses

\xe2\x97\x8f Participates in key decision-making for the company as related to farming operations.

\xe2\x97\x8f Adhere to and follow all safety procedures in accordance with training and report any dangerous conditions to management immediately.

\xe2\x97\x8f Performs maintenance and repairs on all farm equipment as needed such as troubleshooting malfunctions and completing minor/major repairs.

\xe2\x97\x8f Maintains an updated and accurate maintenance/repair log on all machines for reference purposes.

\xe2\x97\x8f Maintains financial, operational, production, and employment records for farm operations as requested.
