Our Ideal Candidate

  • At-least 4-6 Years of relevant experience in below skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy
  • Possesses good understanding on Banking domain and reward system functional knowledge.
  • Actively lead and support credit card reward points system development projects to achieve the most optimal client, business and people outcomes.
Business
  • Understand business idea, clarify primary purposes of the future product or product feature changes. Assist in setting up primary product benchmarks, such as customer acquisition strategy and value proposition. Evaluate the most relevant means of implementation, which will be the most convenient for both stakeholders and developers.
  • Assist in development activities planning along with software development team, establish primary business requirements, shape development direction and arrange development prioritization, via workshop, user stories creation, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other necessary Agile ceremonies / activities.
  • Discuss in detailed with stakeholders and validate business requirement before business requirements is included in the team backlog, assures compliance of the development outcomes with a customer\xe2\x80\x99s business goals. Ensure both sides on the same page and everything goes in the right direction.
  • Get feedback from stakeholders and ensures product improvements according to the obtained info.
  • Delivered projects within the banks project management framework, within timeline within budget. Emphasis on project quality to ensure no incident created from project implementation. Plan more small or incremental releases of the software while delivering new features to market faster (speed to market).
  • Aligned to the Credit Card & Personal Loan (CCPL) Tribe mission, using technology to help business to growth CCPL business and profits by:-
  • Recommending system solution to growth balances, interchange income and interest income especially in the Personal Segment.
  • Transform the current manual processing to digital real time straight through processing.
  • Deliver key business initiative, be it in-country, regional, group or Global initiatives.
  • Support business stakeholders to standardize the Standard Chartered Bank Brand Global Products.
  • Provide business solution that will achieve speed to market as well as production system stability.
Processes
  • Proactively identify and implement operational effectiveness improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (product team, interface teams) to review issue logged or prioritization of requirements in backlog are being addressed and provide ongoing feedback on challenges, successes and best practices.
  • Ensure Mi-Revenue system stability and scalability by delivering scalable solution and quality software.
  • Collaborate with production support to provide solution to optimize production environment performance.
People & Talent
  • Actively engaging in stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 conversations, providing timely, clear and actionable feedback to deliver project within timeline.
Risk Management
  • Escalate, mitigate, and resolve any risk, conduct and compliance issues noticed throughout the project development lifecycle.
Governance
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.   • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
  • Credit Card product team of United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Pakistan.
  • Retail Banking Technology & Innovation Retail Products Lending Credit Card Project Development team (RB ITO-Ret Prod-LC-CrCard-Prj)
  • Credit Card Operation team, authorization team, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Credit, Collection, on-boarding team, and other in-country teams.
  • Key interface teams of Credit Card Systems such as i-Banking, SMS Banking, e-Statement team, e-Bundle team, PSGL team, CACS team, EDMP team, Rewards Redemption Engine, 360 degree reward system, etc.
  • Technology & Innovation Leadership team \xe2\x80\x93 Country, Regional, Global
