Job Description


JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Vice President - Group HR, the job holder will be responsible for supporting and providing high quality Rewards work together with the Performance Management work strategically and operationally for Taylor\'s Education Group (TEG) level. The job holder will be supporting the Head of Human Resources in developing TEG\'s short term and long term rewards and performance management strategy, policy, system, processes, communications and analytics. He/she will also be responsible for managing the annual compensation processes, whilst ensuring cost effective solutions are adopted.

KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee the effectiveness of existing rewards policy, guidelines,systems & procedures; recommend revisions, job evaluation/matching, proactively lead the development of new salary structure, job grading and introduce new plans that are cost effective and consistent with rewards trends and aligned to the TEG overall strategic goals, EVP and Total Rewards Philosophy.
  • Consult, collaborate and work with internal business partners including/HRBPs, Finance, ICT, Procurement and etc., senior management and department heads to assess the rewards requirements and advising/propose appropriate rewards solutions to IHR/HRBPs to support the business needs in attracting, motivating and retaining talents.
  • Interpret survey data and market trends to determine competitive position via benchmarking, identify key issues and provide recommendations, to support the growth and expansion of TEG.
  • Ensure the HR systems and analytics are developed and improved from time to time to meet the needs of rewards and performance management requirements.
  • Ensure that TEG\'s rewards program complies with statutory and regulatory requirements, such as minimum wage in countries where TEG operates.
  • Manage and work with external HR consultants on rewards programme and benchmark best market practices for TEG, reports and compensation related communication materials for presentation to Board members, management team and employees.
  • Ensure that all administered compensation and benefit packages are up-to-date with current industry, and abreast with new trends, developments, laws and regulations related to the administration of rewards programme.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of TEG\'s performance appraisal program and provides process improvements proposal, advice and recommendations to TEG management and staff.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of core competencies, core values,and key performance measures into performance appraisal system.
  • Analyse, share of reports on measurement results, status with IHR/HRBPs during Goal Setting, Performance Conversation and Year End Appraisal and perform moderation sessions with Heads of Departments.
  • Provides ongoing oversight and support to ensure that performance measures are being used to effectively manage operations, identify and manage risks, and effect organizational change.12.Develops and conduct presentations and training to management and staff on the performance appraisal system subject to needs if any.13.Collaborate with L&D and HRIS teams to provide training to all levels of staff on performance management and systems if any.14.Collaborate with L&D and HRIS in developing and implementing performance improvement plans into the Performance Management system.
JOB SPECIFICATION(S)
MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Masters or Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Finance, Social Science or related field.

RELATED EXPERIENCE
  • At least 5-7 years of related experience in the design and implementation of comprehensive reward strategies and performance management.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of concepts, systems, market best practices, process improvements and methodologies related to rewards and performance management.
