Your Role Reporting to and working closely with the Asia-Pacific (APAC) & Global Distributor Market (GDM) Chief Transformation and Financial Officer. This role will have an oversight of APAC region\'s strategic planning whilst driving the financial progress of the business. The role is required to provide short- and long-term growth plans, review all KPIs for the business, and create yearly financial objectives that are in alignment to the company\'s growth plans for APAC which includes countries like, China, Japan, SEA country cluster, Australia/New Zealand. Along with this, the role will also need to provide leadership and coaching to their finance employees and ensure the management reports, budgets, financial statements, cash flows reports, etc are properly submitted and completed in a timely manner. Your Key Task End-to-end responsibility of financial accounting, reporting and cash management in APAC and continuously building and supporting local business growth. Maintain strong internal controls by having a full understanding of end-to end process of set of local books, and ensure adherence to accounting and financial policies and procedures of the company. Sets the strategy, focus and priorities for your market in close conjunction with the local APAC Leadership Team and regional CTO/ CFO. Develop long term business and operating plan and driving local strategic business plans to ensure delivering of monthly, quarterly and annual profit forecasts, budgeting, and financial reporting. Consolidation of the business results and provide performance management advice on the strategic financial decisions for your local market and in market trade-offs among cost & service. Cash Flow management including global or local funding Local operations: responsible for the contact with the service providers for statutory accounting and tax. Furthermore, handle and provide advice on labour, customs, accounting and tax matters Full P&L and Balance sheet responsibilities Finance agenda & people development: design of local market organizations and implementation on the ground. He/she ensures that the finance teams are motivated, energized and upskilled to be a highly effective finance team. Business partner with cross functional teams for end-to-end P&L understanding across channels, key customers, innovations, etc Skills and Experience Degree holder in Accounting / Finance with international accounting qualification. 15+ years of working experience in relevant fields. Excellent analytical and mathematical acumen. Proficient with mathematical modelling techniques for scenario testing and goal setting. Good interpersonal skill, team player, self-motivated and analytical mind. Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. High level of self-management and ability to function amidst tight deadlines and changing priorities. Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic, fast paced and team-oriented environment. Ability to extract complex data and analyze it to monitor business performance and identify trends. Strong leadership skills with experience managing across cultures Strong Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
