Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Build new product/ solution architecture for modernization and digital transformation initiatives and ensure it adopts new technology stack with alignment to overall bank technology architecture frameworks and standards. Establish high-level solution architecture for modernization and digital transformation initiatives across functions and line of business. Work closely with solutioning and regional development team to identify best-fit architectural solutions that involve changes to Digital and non-Digital applications. Deliver new business capabilities based on new technology stack and ensure architectural principles and leading practices are adhered to Provide oversight on the detailed design (domain-driven, bounded context, at granularity of microservices) by squads and development team Collaborate with transformation architect team and regional development team across Malaysia, Singapore and China to provide technical guidance, support and coaching on solutioning and development. Establish Technology standards, design patterns, languages and frameworks for new technology stack Communicate any new guidance on architecture framework to the technology team. Participate in regional Transformation Architecture meetings, solution workshops, and review meetings. Qualifications Key skills: Minimum 8+ years of experience as architect/ developer lead/ senior business analyst for banking, payments and mobile solutions. At least 3 years of experience in Microservices architecture, Messaging (MQ, Kafka). Experience in solution architecture with banking domain such as payments, core banking. Experience and exposure to architecture modernization or digital transformation projects is added advantage. Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point. Experience as a full stack software developer and in at least one mainstream front end development technology (Native iOS, Native Android, Hybrid/Web: AngularJS, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3) Familiar with \'Design Thinking\' methodology and DevOps tools and principles Strong situational analysis, logical thinking and decision-making ability. Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations. Team player, client-facing, strong communicator, comfortable working in agile and collaborative environment Familiarity with the following Technology stack o Spring Boot, Spring Boot Sync/Async, WebSphere MQ, Enterprise OpenShift, Prometheus/Grafana, App Dynamics, Active Directory, i-Sprint, Data Grid, PostgreSQL, MONGO DB, Kafka, Angular JS, React JS, Data Grid, EFK, JWT (Json Web Token) Familiarity with 50% of the following tools o Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Coverity, Black Duck, Nexus, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, CyberArk, Kibana, Grafana
