About the job Application Engineer

• To provide consultation, advice and recommendation to customers on product enquiries and application.
• To provide focus support to customers for all design-in activities.
• Focus support could involve customer visit, teleconference and quick email replies.
• Design-in activities could involve helping customers to review their hardware design & schematics, operating spec, mechanical spec, firmware setting & etc.
• Responsible to manage and prepare customer samples, product demo kit & reference design to demonstrate and promote new product features.
• Work closely with Sales, FAE and also customer personnel by dissemination product technical knowledge.
• Work closely with the IC Design team and Product Engineering team to understand the product features, function, firmware key parameters and other detail product specification.
• Perform verification to new product prior to mass production release. Produce product documents such as datasheet, application notes, reference design guide and software documentation.
• To assist Marketing in accessing and exploring potential new market application to expand company\'s product portfolio.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Professional Degree or Master\'s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of firmware and hardware debugging and troubleshooting is needed.
• Willing to work and interface with customers.
• Knowledgeable in CMOS & mixed signal circuits, imaging sensor, embedded system debugging & strong analytical skill will be advantageous.
• Good communication & presentation skills.
