An established analytical device company is seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical and application support to customers within the scientific equipment industry. In this job, you will report directly to the General Manager. About the Application Engineer Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for providing the best application solution and quality technical support for the equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Providing in-depth technical support and application support to customers
• Assisting customers on product testing and resolving application issues
• Qualifying technical requirements for sales opportunities
• Being responsible for calibration and configuration on chromatography equipment in accordance to customer testing requirements
• Reviewing and developing product manuals and application procedures
• Becoming a competent key technical advisor and ensuring a good relationship with customers
• Providing user training to customers on application equipment maintenance

To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical hands-on knowledge of equipment application within the scientific equipment industry. Key Requirements:

• Degree in chemical engineering or related field
• Three or more years of field service experience with liquid chromatography, gas chromatography and complex analysis tools such as failure analysis tools
• Familiar with 3-MCPD and MOSH (Mineral Oil Saturated Hydrocarbons)/MOAH (Mineral Oil Aromatic Carbons)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Willing to travel across ASEAN countries
