Designation Application Engineer
Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second level support in handling order routing enquiry, trading disruption, troubleshooting and respond within SLA.
• Liaising between IT programmers and other stakeholders when IT issues occur.
• Escalate promptly and decisively when problem faced is beyond containment.
• Monitoring of projects schedule and system integrity/stability;
• Maintain the daily application hotline;
• Liaise with external application vendors on maintenance support
• Perform user acceptance testing for each system change;

• Advanced Diploma/Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field

• 2-year application support, troubleshooting and testing experience

• Software development experience in modern programming languages, such as C#, ASP.net or Classic ASP 3.0 and MS SQL server will be a competitive advantage

• Experience in the financial services industry or Equity Trading will be a competitive advantage

• Detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined, with ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight in a professional and timely manner

• Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Able to understand business logic after discussion or self-study

• Have good communication skills

• Fresh Graduates are welcomed for junior position

• IT Background.

• Job location is Taman Molek, Johor Bahru.
