offering high quality products and services to manufacturing companies, has an opening for a Application Engineer to represent their extensive product range. The role is based in Singapore.
The role
The Application Engineer has to provide the best technical expertise in the field demonstrating Engineering Kompetenz. This position establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and FSE to effectively meet customer needs. Also this position provides optimal application solution and proposals to optimize the machining process of the customer to increase productivity.

Responsibilities in the role will include:
Customer visits: Visiting regularly the customers for testing the tools as well to build a strong relationship with them. Increases sales with the presentation of solutions, which meets the needs of the customer. Testing: Conducts well prepared application tests in coordination with FSE with a solution that works. Optimization: Analyzes the machining process with the customers. Makes proposals of either standard or specials to increase productivity. Application: Recommends the best possible application solution for the customer either standard or special solution to be recognized as a kompetent partner. Claims: Analyze the claim at the customer site and reports that to the Sales organization internally. Supports the customer with a solution or alternatives regarding the results of the claim analysis. Reporting: Reports the testing results completely to the responsible FSE by using the Customer saving sheet. Presenting: Presents the solution/results in a customer orientated, well structured way. Networking: Coordinates his/her activities within the internal organization (e.g. Sales, Inside Sales, LE) to ensure the best knowledge sharing and practice. Demonstrate new products: Presents demo tool/new tools to the customer. New product requirement: Makes proposals for new product requirements regarding customer needs.
