What will you do?

• Provide expert pre-sales support to the sales force on Drives/Inverters Energy Management architectures including the Schneider Electric (SE) Industrial Automation system platform.

• Promote & prescribe the SE\xe2\x80\x99s system platform.
• Taking the requirements and constraints of the customer into account, assist customer in the definition of the best implementation (valid, optimized and differentiating) of the SE\xe2\x80\x99s system platform.
• On project, explain the technical unique value advantages of the proposed architecture.

• Create value and differentiation by providing system & architecture pre-sales expertise to both end users/consultants and integration partners, where relevant (pre-project consultation, feasibility study, audit\xe2\x80\xa6) in a \xe2\x80\x9cfor-a-fee\xe2\x80\x9d mode.

• Motivate, develop and support Sales / Partners to meet its order objectives.

• Visit customers (EUs and associated consultants, EPC, Sis, PnBs) together with the sales force or following their requests. Introduce and promote the complete SE\xe2\x80\x99s System Offer. Organizes training and technical seminars for Sales / Partners / Customers. Help to close the deal by providing differentiating elements to sales for the commercial argumentation.

• Industrial Automation Drives Application support.

• Build proof of concept (POC) to conquer a new account and/or to capture an additional share of wallet. Build and animate demos to develop customer\xe2\x80\x99s confidence. Within the requirements and constraints of the functionalities of the solution/application under scrutiny, recommend and develop a competitive architecture (=customize typical architectures) and recommend system implementation which optimally meets the customer needs & requirements. When required (when supporting intermediary partners) build the quotation for the architecture.

• Industrial Automation Drives Offer / Market intelligence.

• Provide recommendations & support in terms of migration from or interconnection to SE\xe2\x80\x99s legacy offer. Answer deep technical questions on integration/compatibility of components inside an architecture. Able to gather specific information regarding Industry Automation offer (social media, competitors, budget, comm/tech adv/disadv, etc\xe2\x80\xa6) to increase chances of order.

• Industrial Automation Drives Offer preparation (Direct Bids).

• Provide expert support: assist/lead the system & architecture definition with the customer and create value by advising the customer on advanced issues (feasibility, limits & constraints, performance). Following Company Tendering Procedure in order to optimize the bid and minimize risk. On-time Bid preparation and information delivery after submission.

What qualifications will make you successful?

• A recognized Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Power Electronics and motor control.
• More than 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in power electronics or electrical distribution as pre-sales.
• Past experiences in drives business as design engineer, commissioning engineer or product application engineer (PAE) with track record of participation in (pre-) sales and opportunities pursuit.
• Possess good business acumen, ability to operate & achieve in a transversal international environment.
• Experience with design firm (consultant) preferable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, absolute team player with high integrity and ethical values.
