About the job Application Engineer

JOB OBJECTIVES / SUMMARY

Incumbent is responsible to assemble, debug, troubleshoots and modify if needed as per customers specification & requirements; as well as to ensure the timeliness and quality of the project. He is responsible on the direct shipment and final operation process at the company to ensure the best final product quality. He/she will be liaison with company\'s counterparts closely for all necessary support needed in the operation.

\xef\xbb\xbfMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• \xef\xbb\xbfTo perform Final Integration works
• To perform system debugging and testing
• To perform hardware and wiring installation
• Installed Products Related Part (PR)/Tool & ATO into System
• Support critical production issue from assembly when requested
• Setup application at customer site
• Support machines buy offs with customer
• Provide application support to customer requested via telephone or at customer

site * Carrying out machine demos and application sample built (applicable to system debuggers)

• To be able to troubleshoots system and/or tool independently
• Responsible for on time delivery of all projects
• To participate in design error related problems
• To ensure good quality of work
• To update the team for on-going projects progress
• To set & meet personal goals.
• To contribute to sectional & departmental goals
• To liaison with company\'s counterparts
• To modify when required to meet customers requirements
• To assist and support peers and superior
• To support internal buy off processes
• To support helpdesk issue when required
• To involve in Continuously Improvement activities

• \xef\xbb\xbfMinimum Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Degree or equivalent\xef\xbb\xbf

\xef\xbb\xbfTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS

• \xef\xbb\xbfGood Knowledge of Semiconductor Molding equipment and Application

requirements. * Good knowledge in system & toolset concept & layouts

• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & tolerance (GD&T)
• Understanding of machining process
• Understanding of company\'s products & services
• Understanding of assembly drawing
• Understanding of detail drawing & part list
• MS Office

1. Internal
Frequent contacts with colleagues in the same section in project discussion
Frequent contacts with peers of various sections/ departments (Material Management, Planning, Toolshop, Tool/PR kits assembly and testing, QC, Service) with regards to technical issue, technical advice, solving of field issues & service issues.

2. External
Frequent contacts with FD counterparts for technical discussion/ clarification when necessary
Occasional contacts with service engineer together with technical support personnel for technical discussion
