will lead and oversee the architectural design process from concept to project completion, ensuring high-quality design output aligned with project goals, client expectations, and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership, design expertise, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership
Lead conceptualization, development, and refinement of architectural design solutions.
Drive design excellence while ensuring functionality, sustainability, and constructability.
Review and approve design deliverables including drawings, models, materials, and specifications.
Project Management
Oversee project design schedules, deliverables, and manpower allocation.
Ensure timely coordination and execution of all design-related tasks.
Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with BIM teams, consultants, engineers, contractors, and clients.
Facilitate design workshops, technical meetings, and interdisciplinary reviews.
Manage communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on design intent.
Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure design documentation complies with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Provide design direction to address technical challenges and resolve design conflicts.
Conduct design audits and quality checks at different project stages.
Team Development
Mentor and guide the design team to enhance capabilities and performance.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous professional development of architectural staff.
Innovation & Best Practices
Promote implementation of advanced design tools, digital technologies, and sustainable practices.
Contribute to design standards, workflows, and process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Architecture or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 8-12 years of relevant architectural design experience including leadership roles..
Experience in mixed-use developments;
Healthcare background would be an added advantage.
Strong proficiency in architectural design tools.
Strong understanding of construction processes, design workflows, and project lifecycle management.
Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects (as applicable).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to train and mentor project teams on Design best practices.
